What is a "secured credit card?"

Modified on Mon, 17 Oct 2022 at 03:35 PM

A secured credit card is a credit card that requires a cash security deposit when you open the account. This is a great option for those with low credit score or no credit history who may have trouble qualifying for other “unsecured credit cards” that do not require cash deposits but require higher credit scores.
